From Kowloon City to the World is an English cultural exchange forum aiming at enhancing the English proficiency of local students and developing their global perspectives via a series of interactive discussions and dynamic themed- games organized by the exchange students of the University of Hong Kong. More than twelve schools have participated in the event to facilitate cultural learning. Two 90-minute sessions are held annually, taking place in mid October and late March. Secondary four and five students are welcome to join the program to make acquaintances with foreigners from all over the world.
At the end of March, fourteen S.4 students will participate in this forum, which is organized by New Asia Middle School and the University of Hong Kong. Participants will be assigned into different groups and express their views on various issues such as studying abroad. Through different kinds of English activities, it is hoped that these students can broaden their horizons and that their speaking skills can be brushed up.
